3D Logic 2: Stronghold of Sage is a 3D Spatial Logic Puzzle game and the sequel of the famous puzzle game 3D Logic, which was also developed by Alex Matveev. Unlike its prequel, the game was sponsored by MyGame. The relaxing soundtrack was produced by Irina Zakharova.
Gameplay[]

The player is presented with 3 sides of a cube and each side has a grid of squares. The goal of the game is to use your mouse to connect each pair of same-colored blocks with an unbroken line that does not cross over another color, nor passes through a black space. There are 30 levels of theoretically increasing difficulty. On each level, the puzzle may be mirror-imaged, turned around to any of the three sides face up and the colors on the squares changed around - this is to difficult the use of walkthroughs. The cube now is semi-transparent - it wasn't in the first game.
The first Cubes start out being 3x3x3, going all the way up to 5x5x5 on later Cubes. There is a timer that begins at Level 1 and stops upon the completion of Level 30. Between some of the levels, a text box appears and tells the player some poetic information about colors. Pressing Ctrl+Click clears a colored cell. The player can change colors by scrolling the mouse wheel.
Both the story and music are optional.
Trivia[]
- The text box between some levels talk about red, orange, yellow, green, emerald, turquoise, blue, indigo, violet, magenta, pink, gray, black, and white - then it talks about the spectrum.
- Judging by the comments of this game, the levels between 20 and 25 are far harder than the ones after it. A similar situation happened in the original 3D Logic.
