ACTION TURNIP!!! is a badged game on Kongregate. It was developed by Raitendo.
Gameplay[]
Jump, double-jump, and shoot! You play as a little turnip in this odd game. There are 2 modes: Run'n'Gun and Turnabalt. For Run'n'Gun, you use the WASD or arrow keys to control the turnip, and use the mouse to shoot at your enemies. Alternately, you can use I, J, K, and L. Using two keys at the same time allows you to shoot diagonally. Try not to lose too much of your life or drop into the holes! You may also collect items on the way.
Items:
Checkerboard: Turns the screen black and white in a checkerboard pattern
Rainbow: Changes the screen to different colors
Kill-All: Self-explanatory, but it can also eliminate a ground enemy that is approaching, but not yet in the screen.
Double Jump: Gives you 5 double jumps. You cannot have more than 5 double jumps at a time.
Restore: Restores all health.
There are two enemies- Bats, which fly and can be killed with either one bullet or by being jumped on, and land enemies, which take two bullets or just one jump on.
The Turnabalt mode plays like Canabalt, in which you try to survive by jumping over gaps in the ground. In Turnabalt mode, there are no enemies, and you cannot move side to side- The only control is jumping, with left click, mouse, the up arrow or the W key.
