Async Racing is a multiplayer racing game on Kongregate and Ben Olding Games. You control a car and race around tracks to win XP and track credits. You also can break records set by other drivers and set your own record on new tracks.
Gameplay[]
Your car is controlled by WASD or arrow keys. There are several different game modes. Quick Race gives you a single race on a random track. In Championship Mode, you choose a set of 10 race tracks and play 10 races in succession. In Time Trial mode you can choose a specific race track to play in order to beat your own personal time record. This race mods is specifically useful when trying to get the hard badge Time Trial Triumph. Use Leaderboard mode to see the all time, monthly, weekly and daily records, then try and beat them.
The multiplayer aspect of this game is asynchronous, which means that your opponents are not other players in real-time. Your opponents are recordings or "ghost cars" of the performances of the last nine players to play on the race track you have chosen. This means that you don't have to wait for opponents in order to play and you don't have to worry about lag.
You can customize the appearance, colors and horn sounds of your car. The game also has a level editor where players can create their own race tracks.
