Sacred Seasons is a turn-based MMORPG. It was developed on a small budget and was designed to earn revenue for funding a more elaborate sequel, Sacred Seasons 2.

General description[]
This game was published in May 2005, developed by a small team of developers/artists with very little budget and was launched as a Facebook application first.
When being badged on Kongregate, it became a great success. It makes a lot of money out of Kongregate's microtransaction API and people buying Sacred Seasons virtual currency, Gold, which is used to buy items that are much better than the free ones.
This game has a huge community and several really active guilds which even have a forum / homepage.
jamieyg3, the developer that adds new stuff to the game, such as items, arenas or areas, also hosts guild competitions with item prizes.
The gameplay is basically grinding experience. People try to get a higher level than others and eventually get a spot on the top 99 leaderboard.

Use your mouse to click somewhere and your character will move there. Click on White portals to go to a new screen. Click Red portals to get into a battle! Use the Character menu at the top to customize your character.

These badges are all endurance badges, except the easy one, but can be acquired quite fast if a higher leveled player powerlevels you.
